Additionally, by utilizing electric power, the Hyperloop could significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions compared to traditional transportation methods. Its use of maglev technology also means that the system would require minimal maintenance, potentially making it more cost-effective in the long run.

Several companies, including Virgin Hyperloop and Elon Musk’s own SpaceX, are currently working on developing the technology, and the first commercial Hyperloop systems could be operational within the next decade.

Flying cars: Taking to the Skies
